Ruth Okonkwo-Hale is the firm’s general counsel. She looks after its private investigator licences in four states, its engagement letters and software licences, and its filings with the Turing Registry, including the renewal of TR-01993 in 2026.

She joined in 2006 from the licensing division of a state department of state, where she had worked for eight years on private investigator licensing. In 2008 she drafted the amendment to the firm’s articles that allows a partner in half-life to remain a partner.

She keeps the firm’s register of declared interests, including the chairman’s seat on the board of Frothly, and renews it every year.
