Runciter Associates was founded fifty years ago this month, in two rooms on East Forty-Sixth Street, with one inertial and a borrowed desk.

To mark the occasion the firm has reprinted its 1966 standards manual, which it continues to follow, and reissued the chairman’s bulletin of the same year, “On prudence”, without changes. It has not otherwise changed anything, and does not intend to.

The firm thanks its clients, the oldest of whom has been with it since 1963.
